Rival denies BlackBerry’s claim that workers stole trade secrets

While BlackBerry claims that the defendant, Sentinel Labs, purposely poached cybersecurity employees to help access trade secrets, attorneys for Sentinel Labs argue that the plaintiff is attempting to litigate two cases at once and that the employees left because BlackBerry was a failing company.

Attorneys for smartphone maker BlackBerry appeared in Santa Clara County Superior Court Wednesday to resolve discovery disputes with the cybersecurity company they claim stole trade secrets related to BlackBerry’s artificial intelligence security platform.
