Stockton woman one of few to sue over transgender surgery
Chloe E. Brockman’s lawsuit is believed to be the second such case in the U.S. A 32-year-old Oregon woman in December sued her social worker, mental health counselor and the gender clinic where they work, alleging that they did not conduct a full mental health assessment before referring her for medical transition.




A woman in Stockton who underwent sex change procedures as a teenager is suing her hospital and doctors, alleging medical negligence and malpractice, saying that she needed psychotherapy rather than cross-sex hormones and surgery.
The complaint filed on Wednesday alleges that doctors with Kaiser Permanente coerced the plaintiff, Chloe E. Brockman, into undergoing harmful and irreversible sex change procedures for her gender dysphoria start...
