Geragos denies claim he owes former law firm counsel

The lawsuit filed by David Alden Erikson says he worked on multiple major cases for Geragos & Geragos and has yet to be paid for them. Mark Geragos called the lawsuit “chutzpah.”

A lawsuit claims that Los Angeles attorney Mark Geragos failed to pay of counsel David Alden Erikson for two years of work on major cases for the Geragos firm.

In a phone call on Monday, Geragos denied owing Erikson back pay. “I introduced him to several clients who were unsatisfied, and I had to pick up the pieces,” Geragos said. “It’s quite the height of chutzpah that he does substandard work and then wants to get paid five years later....
