TikTok sued for $116M over trademark of word ‘stitch’ in video editing

Attorneys for Stitch Editing Ltd., which has an office in Santa Monica, argue that TikTok uses an identical brand to market the same services that the plaintiff provides. In September 2020, the app launched a feature called “Stitch,” which allows users to link one video to another.
