Apple accused of wiretapping in tracking user activity
“In contradiction of Apple’s privacy promises, Apple tracks and collects large swathes of personal information from mobile device users while they use Apple apps,” plaintiffs said in their class action complaint.




Apple device users have again sued the company, alleging it violated wiretapping laws when it tracked user activity on Apple proprietary apps, regardless of the privacy and tracking settings on their devices.
“In contradiction of Apple’s privacy promises, Apple tracks and collects large swathes of personal information from mobile device users while they use Apple apps,” plaintiffs said in their class action complaint filed Tuesday.
