$27M secured post-trial in patent case against Yahoo
After the original $15 million jury verdict, Yahoo’s trial counsel, L. Norwood Jameson of Duane Morris LLP in Atlanta, wrote in an email that it was “pleased” the jury reduced Droplet’s $260 million damages claim and rejected a finding of willful infringement.




Droplets Inc.’s legal team from Reichman, Jorgensen, Lehman, & Feldberg LLP secured a $27 million post-trial award after a federal judge ruled that there was “substantial trial evidence” to support the company’s patent infringement claim against Yahoo Inc. for its search suggestion feature.
