Consumers question Bumble Bee’s ‘sustainable’ labeling

The lawsuit filed by Pearson Warshaw LLP questions the veracity of the Marine Stewardship Council’s sustainability certification that Bumble Bee Foods prints on the packaging of its canned and pouched products and accuses the company of deceiving customers.

Bumble Bee Food falsely labels its packaged tuna and salmon products as being sustainably sourced, according to proposed class action.
