DoNotPay Inc., the company that claimed it created the “world’s first robot lawyer,” was hit with a lawsuit in San Francisco Superior Court for allegedly filing substandard legal documents on behalf of its clients.
An unsigned email from DoNotPay on Wednesday denied the allegations in the lawsuit, stating that, “Named plaintiff has submitted dozens of cases and seen significant success with our product.”
