Proposed class alleges debt collection abuses in Santa Clara
According to the complaint filed by Consumer Law Center Inc., the defendant was sending out debt collection notices to the plaintiff regarding an alleged debt owed to Dish Network LLC that was “time-barred and obsolete” under California’s Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.




A proposed class action filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court alleged “abusive, deceptive, and unfair” debt collection practices by Frontline Asset Strategies LLC and claims the company did not include its real name in dunning letters to older adults.
