Judge did not err when colleague entered court

A judge has been accused of hugging lawyers from his former firm during trial in another court.

An appellate panel declined to disqualify a Los Angeles County judge who was accused of changing a ruling after a fellow judge visited her courtroom, allegedly hugged the plaintiff’s lawyers during proceedings and sent her a congratulatory text message after the jury verdict.
