Live Nation on track to arbitrate Taylor Swift ticket dispute
In February, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the judge’s decision to compel arbitration in another consumer antitrust case against Live Nation. The panel essentially said Live Nation’s arbitration clause was displayed prominently enough on its website for consumers to notice.




A federal judge set an antitrust class action against Live Nation on track for arbitration during a status conference Monday after his ruling in a case containing similar allegations against the ticketing giant was upheld on appeal last month. Live Nation is facing claims that it improperly handled ticket sales for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras” concert tour.
