UC law schools join advocacy centers for unions

Law school professors at UC Irvine and UC Davis will be partnered with colleagues from other academic specialties to help lead the centers at those universities.

A $13 million taxpayer allocation will fund five labor centers advocating for unions and workers that open this month at five UC campuses, with involvement from at least two law schools.

The centers will offer fellowships and provide resources for students and researchers in collaborative educational initiatives.
