Judge cuts legal fees by a third, calling request unreasonable

The team led by Culver City sole practitioner Angel J. Horacek initially sought fees of over $3.7 million based on a lodestar of $1.5 million multiplied by a 2.5 enhancement.

Attorneys won a reduced $1 million in fees for successful representation of a former Department of Public Social Services employee who led a protest in which a co-worker was injured.
