State judge declines to compel arbitration in Coinbase user suits
The plaintiffs have sued the company in state and federal court on different grounds seeking to hold Coinbase accountable for a group of hackers that allegedly gained access to their accounts and stole up to $250,000 worth of cryptocurrencies.




A San Francisco County judge on Tuesday found no “gamesmanship” on the part of a group of plaintiffs suing Coinbase Inc. for allegedly misrepresenting its “bank level security” and failing to protect user funds from hackers, denying the company’s motion to compel arbitration.
