Non-exam licensure might stymie diversity, CLA president says

“I’ll speak for myself in saying this, but in the research we looked at, I just felt that having an apprenticeship type program without the proper oversight and protocols and not having a bar exam would, in some ways, maybe even institute sort of the opposite effect of increasing diversity, equity and inclusion,” said California Lawyers Association President Jeremy M.
