Undercover LA police officers prepare to sue over release of photos
The data was posted to WatchtheWatchers.net, a searchable database created by a group called the Stop LAPD Spying Coalition. One of the police activities the group has expressed alarm over is the infiltration of protests by undercover officers.




Several law firms said they have filed notice to sue the City of Los Angeles and the police department on behalf of undercover police officers whose photographs and other personal information was released to the website “Watch the Watchers”, which is a database of police officers along with any evidence of abuse or other misconduct.
