State Bar seeking members for specialized committees

“Where specialized experience or credentials are required, for example, the Committee of State Bar Accredited and Registered Schools, we have experienced challenges finding qualified candidates,” said bar spokesman Rick Coca. That committee, for instance, is open to only law school deans and public members with accreditation expertise.

The State Bar is seeking applications by May 1 from attorneys and members of the public to fill vacancies on eight bar committees and the board for legal aid organization California Rural Legal Assistance Inc.
