Receiver for Skid Row Housing Trust says $5M needed for cleanup
Granting the Los Angeles city attorney’s urgency petition, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff allocated $500,000 to Mark S. Adams of the California Receivership Group in the wake of massive flooding, fire watches and three deaths in the housing trust’s properties in recent weeks.




A receiver appointed Friday for the Skid Row Housing Trust estimates that the process of improving 29 of its properties could cost more than $5 million, far more than the amount Los Angeles County Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff allotted.
