EEOC affirms class of deaf Air Force personnel

According to the complaint, the Air Force failed to provide deaf employees and applicants with American Sign Language interpreters, videophones, communication access, real time translation services, and other basic accommodations.

An appellate body of administrative law court of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission affirmed class certification for deaf civilian Department of Air Force applicants and employees who allege they were not provided necessary services.
