FTC seeks TRO to block mortgage companies’ merger

Intercontinental Exchange Inc. and Black Knight Inc. own the two most dominant loan origination systems in the nation.

Seeking a federal court order on Monday to block the two largest mortgage loan technology companies from merging, the Federal Trade Commission says it is making good on its promises to prevent anticompetitive mergers and acquisitions.
