Elderly Girardi client ‘can wait’ to pursue funds, defense counsel argues
Attorneys for the client seeking allegedly misappropriated funds asked that ex-Girardi Keese lawyer David Lira’s deposition substitute for his trial testimony, to save time. Lira’s attorney said the plaintiff has a life expectancy of nine more years, “so I think he can wait.”
