Retired Contra Costa County judge believed in public service
Richard L. Patsey, a once presiding judge of the Contra Costa County Superior Court and lifelong Giants’ baseball fan, died March 12 in Roseville. He was 87.
Patsey was born in St. Joseph, MO in 1935. He attended High School in Edina, Minnesota and went to Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he graduated with a degree in government and international relations. His daughter, Shannon, talked about her father’s college years at C...
