Dispute over Realty commissions, partnership heads to trial

Stefanie Pollack accuses her former colleague at Keller Williams Realty, Dennis Chernov, of breach of contract, fraud and unjust enrichment, and seeks at least $650,000 in damages. Chernov contends that the lawsuit is a shakedown, and filed a cross-complaint saying that they did not have a partnership, and Pollack owes him $1.25 million for marketing costs for the property.

Efforts to settle a dispute between two real estate agents at odds over their business relationship and commissions from some $6.9 million in transactions in a Studio City property were not successful, and the litigation is headed to a jury trial.

In a minute order published on Tuesday, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Robert B. Broadbelt scheduled the trial for November 2024.
