Judge mulls recusal after Apple adds lawyers from former firm
Judge Sunil R. Kulkarni told the parties that he was indifferent about whether the case remains on his docket or is moved. Trial is set for Oct. 2 after three years of preparation. He has said he does not “reflexively” recuse himself when an attorney from his old firm, Morrison & Foerster LLP, appears on a case. But the two attorneys Apple recently added to its legal team are men he has kept in contact with over the years.
