Defense win from 1st jury to judge Tesla Autopilot

The automaker said it never claimed the Autopilot feature was a substitute for an attentive driver.

Tesla Inc. was cleared Friday by a state court jury in Glendale that found that the automobile manufacturer’s Autopilot feature did not malfunction in a 2019 crash involving a Tesla Model S.
