Pointing to funder, TikTok lawyer wants $8M fee for 'bad faith' litigation
“The jury verdict alone is not sufficient to deter the improper, frivolous, and bad faith litigation conduct described above,” wrote Nicola T. Hanna at Gibson Dunn. “The plaintiff has pursued trademark actions in multiple countries around the world, and has threatened to continue doing so even after the jury verdict.”




Attorneys at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, which successfully defended TikTok in a $116 million trademark infringement trial in federal court last month, has asked for $8 million in fees from the other side.
