Disney hires Petrocelli to lead fight against Florida’s DeSantis

The O’Melveny & Myers partner filed a 77-page complaint accusing the Florida governor of “a targeted campaign of government retaliation.”

Daniel M. Petrocelli, a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles, filed a lawsuit Wednesday in federal court in Florida on behalf of his client Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, alleging that Gov. Ron DeSantis’ conduct threatens business operations, jeopardizes its economic future in the region, and violates Disney’s constitutional rights.
