Theranos prosecutor joins Jones Day in Silicon Valley

During 17 years in the U.S. attorney’s office, Jeff Schenk worked on a number of high-profile criminal cases, including his recent successful prosecutions of Theranos Inc. founders Elizabeth A. Holmes and Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani.

Jeff Schenk, the former federal prosecutor who successfully tried both Theranos executives in their multimillion-dollar fraud case, has joined Jones Day as a partner in its White Collar Defense Practice.
