State case on Coinbase ads remains paused for federal matter

The stay was placed on April 4 by Superior Court Judge Richard B. Ulmer to allow for a ruling on Coinbase’s motion to compel arbitration in the parallel federal court action.

A state court lawsuit seeking a public injunction to prevent cryptocurrency platform Coinbase Inc. from continuing to advertise the strength of its cybersecurity remains paused as a San Francisco judge declined on Wednesday to remove a stay on proceedings.
