USC’s outsourced master’s program deceptively advertised, suit says
The lawsuit is the latest to accuse the university of misleading potential students as to the nature of its partnership with the company that oversees its online programs and the equivalency of its online and in-person degree programs.




A prospective class action accuses USC of falsely advertising a $110,000 online masters in social work program as being equivalent to its in-person offering despite major differences in content, instructors and the fact that it outsources online operations to contractors.
