Less than 33% passed February bar exam

Nearly 71%, or 2,665, were repeaters, but only 28% of them passed. Of the 1,100 first timers, 45% passed.

Just 32.5% of test takers passed the February general bar exam, a decline of 1.4% from the previous year, the State Bar reported.

Of the 3,765 applicants, 1,224 received passing scores. There were 652 more applicants this February over last year.
