Supreme Court upholds California’s law on pig farming
Pork producers “invite us to fashion two new and more aggressive constitutional restrictions on the ability of states to regulate goods sold within their borders. We decline that invitation,” Justice Neil M. Gorsuch wrote for the Supreme Court majority.




The U.S. Supreme Court, divided on its reasons, on Thursday upheld a California law forbidding the sale of pork in the state if the pigs are kept in confined quarters, including in other states.
