E-discovery firm lays off 10% percent of workforce

The layoffs are among several throughout the legal industry in recent weeks. Disco, another e-discovery company, reportedly just conducted a second round of layoffs this year.

Everlaw, an e-discovery and legal technology company in Oakland, laid off 50 people, roughly 10% of its workforce.

“As we continue to grow, we need to better align our resources to our business opportunities and prepare for the uncertain economic climate,” a company statement read.
