Walgreens to pay San Francisco $230M over opioid deaths

San Francisco reached a record-setting $230 million settlement with Walgreens after triumphing in a liability trial regarding the pharmaceutical chain’s role in the opioid crisis, City Attorney David Chiu announced Wednesday.
