USF says players’ sex misconduct claims are time-barred

Fourteen anonymous current and former baseball players for the San Francisco Dons had filed suit against coaches Troy Nakamura and Anthony Giarratano, who is the university’s all-time winningest coach.

The University of San Francisco and two coaches it fired after national news stories about sexual misconduct complaints argued in federal court Thursday that the lawsuits against them are time-barred.
