Black Tesla workers want bias suit certified as class

Larry A. Organ, plaintiffs’ co-lead counsel, said in a news release. “How many more Black workers have to be called the N-word for Tesla to finally take effective steps to stop the use of the N-word?”

Attorneys for Black workers employed at Tesla Inc.’s Fremont factory asked a state court judge Monday to certify a class of up to 6,000 people in a lawsuit accusing the automotive company of harboring a racist work environment.
