Committee advances de Alba’s 9th Circuit nomination

All 11 Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee voted for Judge Ana I. de Alba to join the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. All 10 Republicans voted against her.

By a slim partisan vote, the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday approved the nomination of U.S. District Judge Ana I. de Alba of Fresno for a vacant seat on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
