Google accused of collecting patient information

The plaintiffs claimed that in a random analysis of just over 6,000 health provider websites, was unlawfully obtaining health information on 87% of those sites. Google denies that it does this.

Anonymous plaintiffs filed an amended complaint and preliminary injunction motion Tuesday against Google LLC over claims the company unlawfully tracked, collected and monetized users’ private information from health care provider websites.
