Altshuler partner Casey Pitts confirmed as US judge
Altshuler Berzon LLP partner P. Casey Pitts was confirmed Wednesday as a judge of the Northern District of California, the second California judicial nominee of President Joe Biden to win Senate approval this week.
The Senate confirmed him 53-46, with two Republicans — U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham, R-SC and Susan Collins, R-ME — joining all 51 Democrats and independents to support the nominee.
