The State Bar is seeking to disbar two former Girardi Keese attorneys -- David R. Lira and Keith D. Griffin -- accusing them of taking part in the misappropriation of settlement funds from families of air crash victims.
The bar said the two attorneys did this along with the disbarred head of the firm, Thomas V. Girardi.
Griffin and Lira, who is Girardi's son-in-law, have denied previously that they had knowledge of or influence over Girardi's handling of client fund...
