Anti-workplace politics bill likely to see court fight

While SB 399 contains exemptions for religious and “political” organizations, the latter term also wasn’t defined under the law. The pending bill could make companies liable for political speech by employees, business groups say.

Labor and business groups are gearing up for Round 2 of a battle over whether employers can require workers to listen to political messages. Round 3 will probably be in court.
