San Francisco wins $1,631 sanction for delayed discovery

San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu argued that Dow W. Patten of Forthright Law PC had failed to comply with a March 9 order and has been holding up the litigation.

A San Francisco pro tem judge ordered Forthright Law PC to pay $1,631 in sanctions to the City and County of San Francisco Wednesday stemming from a discovery dispute in a civil rights lawsuit alleging racial discrimination by city employees.
