Defendant can stay case while seeking interlocutory appeal
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, writing for a court majority that included all the justices appointed by Republican presidents with the exception of Justice Clarence Thomas, added that he anticipates the 9th Circuit will move quickly to decide whether to compel arbitration.
