Microsoft Gaming chief tells court about ‘console wars’

The FTC is seeking to enjoin Microsoft from consummating its deal until it can finish its administrative review. Microsoft has said that if a preliminary injunction is granted it is likely the acquisition will not go through.

Microsoft Gaming’s chief executive officer took the stand Friday to testify as Microsoft Corp.’s corporate representative in the Federal Trade Commission’s lawsuit that seeks to block its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard Inc.
