Mistrial for class saying Cognizant has pro-Indian bias

Attorneys at Kotchen & Low LLP represented a plaintiff class that said Cognizant discriminates against non-Indian candidates applying for jobs in the U.S. and has in place corporate practices to predominantly hire Indians for these jobs.

A racial discrimination class action against information technology company Cognizant, accused of favoring Indian nationals in hiring and promotion, ended in a mistrial after a federal jury in Los Angeles failed to reach a verdict.
