State Supreme Court to review Prop 22 constitutionality

The initiative passed by voters says drivers for companies like Uber and Lyft are contractors.

The state Supreme Court granted review Wednesday to workers seeking to strike down Proposition 22, the voter initiative backed by Lyft Inc. and Uber Technologies Inc. that declared that all of its workers should be classified as independent contractors.
