2 attorneys testify against LA lawyer who tweeted 'shoot the protestors'

Marla A. Brown is accused by the State Bar of misrepresenting herself as an LAPD union attorney and responded to tweets from the public and elected officials with calls to shoot, execute and burn down the homes of those supporting the George Floyd protests.

Two attorneys -- one of them in-house counsel for the Los Angeles police union -- testified Wednesday against a lawyer facing State Bar charges about tweets she sent in 2020 suggesting protesters be shot and a TV news anchor's house to be burned.

One of the accusations against Marla A. Brown is that she misrepresented herself as an LAPD union attorney in her Twitter biography, @SoCalMAB, when she sent the tweets.
