LA attorney charged in ethics trial says controversial tweets were expression of frustration

"I did post my thoughts and feelings about the things that were going on in the public - and there were a lot of things going on ... All of those things were a result of frustration and anger of what was going on because it got out of control," Marla Brown said.

An attorney facing disciplinary action over tweets she posted urging violence against demonstrators following the murder of George Floyd in 2020 testified Friday that she was overcome with emotion when protests turned to looting and rioting.
