Edison, Bobcat Fire plaintiffs disagree on executives’ deposition

Individual plaintiffs filed the lawsuit against Edison in November 2020, two months after the Bobcat Fire burned approximately 115,796 acres in the San Gabriel Valley, destroying 170 homes and structures and injuring six firefighters.

Pretrial negotiations continue in a lawsuit accusing Southern California Edison of negligence leading to the 2020 Bobcat Fire in the San Gabriel Valley as the parties come together on bellwether cases and mediation, but pull apart on deposing top executives.
