JAMS halts Twitter labor arbitration over fee demand, plaintiffs say

Former employees alleged that after months of insisting on arbitration, Twitter told JAMS that the company wants all arbitration fees split equally among the parties. JAMS canceled scheduled proceedings, saying Twitter’s fee split request violates the ADR provider’s rules.

Twitter Inc. has allegedly backed out of arbitration with almost 900 former employees after its request for arbitration fees to be split among all parties was denied, according to the workers’ lawsuit.
